Privacy Policy

PedalStock collects no personal data. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. This policy explains what the app stores and the few times it uses the network.

What stays on your device

Your parts inventory, builds, progress, notes and attached files (schematics, layouts, build docs and photos) are stored only on your iPhone or iPad, inside PedalStock. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes this data.

When the app uses the network

PedalStock works offline. It connects to the internet only when you ask it to:

• Find Schematic or BOM Online sends the words you search for to the public search feeds of Tagboard Effects (Blogger), PedalPCB, Aion FX, madbeanpedals, PedalLayouts and ElectroSmash. Those sites receive your search terms and, like any website, your IP address. PedalStock sends nothing else.
• Opening a search result shows that website inside the app, and downloading a file from it fetches that file. The website's own privacy policy applies to what you view there.
• Links on the Resources tab and "Search the Whole Web in Safari" open in Safari.

Camera and photos

The camera is used only when you choose Scan with Camera to scan a schematic or layout. Photos are read only when you pick them with Choose from Photos. Scans and photos are stored with the build on your device. Text recognition in scans runs on the device using Apple's frameworks.

Children

PedalStock does not collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
